Our intro trips are usually the Tombstone Tandem BASE jump options that involve short drives from town, hikes up to 45 min, and include views of behind the rocks, petroglyphs, and arches. These jumps are good for people up to roughly 200 lbs and video and apparel can be added to you trips. For solo travelers and groups up to 3-4 people, this is our best trip for first timers.

Our Mineral Bottom Tandem BASE jumping Trips are for larger groups. There are a handful of cliffs that have the unique ability to be shuttled by vehicle. WE can drive to the bottom of the cliffs and pick you and your family or friends up after your tandem BASE jumps and drive you back to the top. These trips have discounted rates for groups and have a bit more altitude to fly around with after the jump. These tandem base trips are an hour drive from moab, but also worth the views!

Our other trips are considered adventure trips that involve more physical output from the client. There is steep hiking and fixed ropes that must be climbed to reach the point at which you jump. These tandem BASE jumping tours are still popular but are recommended for fit adventurers with a background in exploration and have more than basic fitness. Fitness is essential to these jumps because of the intensity of the approach. They are a bit more challenging and a bit more pricey— but also sought after experiences!!

BASE Jump Moab::: Valley of the Gods ::: PART 4 -- The Putterman Connection

The last and final part of BASE jump Moab’s Tandem BASE journey to Valley of the Gods can be summed up in one great video. After taking the time to open up a new climb by accident to find the first pitch of “It’s a Rad, Rad, Rad, Rad Putterman,” and summiting both towers, rigging a new all natural highline, and then walking it… This was likely my favorite jump from the entire trip. Climbing, rigging, highlining, BASE jumping, and Tandem BASE jumping— All in a day?! Just butter me up, salt me, cook me at 425, and crisp me to a golden brown crunchy finish— what a dream. From the vibe, to the exit, to the light, to the fight, to the landing, to the incredible icing of the cake it was for the day… This jump off of “Putterman Gives you Wings,” was quite possibly one of my all time favorite tandem exits of the year.

Leaving Valley of the Gods was both incredible and saddening at the same time. It was sad obviously because the adventures and excitement felt like it had just begun, and the options for Tandem BASE out there are plentiful via arduous effort. Spencer, Sylvan, and I were just getting into the groove and if we had more food, and firewood— we could have stayed indefinitely it felt. This place is exactly the style that I like to dabble in and that effortlessly inspires. It was also kind of exciting to leave because of how many new projects there would be when we came back! The list only grew and grew as we watched sunrise after sunset. Next year we will be going out to VOTG for more than just a handful of days and with a way more effective and efficient plan of attack and foundation for success and glory! Cheers to the next year and for what we can achieve with Tandem BASE, Canyoneering, Climbing, Rappelling, Rope Swings, Highlining, and the rest of it! Kudos to a success mission.
